Southridge Mall Welcomes Sophia's Heart for Sing-A-Thon
Southridge Mall is welcoming Sophia's Heart for a sing-a-thon, plus hosting a free True Love photo booth this Valentine's Day Weekend
Love is in the air at Southridge Mall as the center celebrates Valentine’s Day weekend with a sing-a-thon hosted by Sophia’s Heart, an after-school music and arts program founded by American Idol alum Danny Gokey. The choir, which consists of at-risk kids aged 11 through 17, will be accepting donations in exchange for a heartfelt performance of a top Billboard love song of the donors choosing on Saturday, February 13, from 1 p.m.to 4 p.m. Funds raised will be used toward travel expenses for the organization’s upcoming performance at Universal Studios in California.
In addition, Southridge Mall is also hosting the True Love photo booth Valentine’s Day weekend, offering shoppers the chance to snap a complimentary photo with their loved ones and share it online using #truelove. Shoppers can stop by the photo booth on Saturday, February 13, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday, February 14, from noon to 5 p.m.
