Southridge May Back-Off on Bus Ban

Simon Property Group, Inc., the owners of Southridge Mall in Greendale, appear to be .

Mall management had previously met with representatives and county officials about no longer allowing buses to drop-off and pick-up passengers on mall property beginning in February.

Concerns over noise and safety issues were cited as the reason for the proposed changes.  

Today, according to a report on Fox6, mall management issued a statement saying they are working toward a solution with the Department of Transporation and that they said they don't expect any disruptions to bus service at the mall.

Four bus routes and a frequent flyer route currently make stops at Southridge Mall.
