WISCONSIN — All of us know somebody who has gone above and beyond to help others, and in turn, who has helped make life just a little bit better for someone.

Those kinds of actions have a ripple effect, helping to spread positive vibes to more and more people at a time when people really need them. But really, when don't we need them?

Wisconsin Patch is looking for your stories. Below is a form where you can tell the story of an amazing helper. We will help share your story across our network of 21 state Patch websites to pass the good feelings along.

Helping comes in all forms: a person who volunteers to shovel the sidewalk or help with groceries. Maybe it's someone who's always been there for the school PTA, the local church or volunteer center. It could be someone who came through with some extra money at the right time or someone who donates their time to help with an important fix-it, creative or business project.

Your helper can be of any age, or any ability. Here at Patch, third-graders and bank presidents are on equal footing as helpers.

We will also randomly choose one storyteller and one helper for a free Patch gear prize pack for their efforts!
