The Greendale Historical Society is providing a look into 6 different original Greendale homes as a culmination to the Village's 75th anniversary.
The unique design and construction features of these homes are often a mystery to those who drive past. Now docents will tell a bit of their history and allow for touring within these 1938 houses. Children will be selling 5 cent/glass lemonade at an authentic old stand in one of the greenspace parks along the tour route just as they did more than seventy years ago.
The tour is a fund raiser for the Hose Tower Community Center Project. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 that day. Tickets available at the Library, Greendale Visitor Center and on-line at www.thegreendalehistoricalsociety.org
