The Greendale Historical Society in conjunction with the 75th Anniversary of Greendale and the village's recent National Historic Landmark status is having a tour of six original Greendale Homes. Many people have hoped to see the interiors of these unique living units and now will have a chance. In addition there will be docents placed to tell of historic features along the route and an authentic old-time lemonade stand run by children- just as was done in the early days of Greendale.
The tour is a fund raiser for the Hose Tower Community Center Project and tickets are $15 ahead of time or $20 the day of the event. Tickets are available at the Greendale Visitor Center, the Library or online at thegreendalehistoricalsociety.org
