Wisconsin is making historical economic progress as we continue to climb out of the recession. According to the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Wisconsin is ranked second in the nation for economic growth, and number one in the Midwest. We are experiencing the highest growth rate our state has seen over the last 25 years.
The legislature is planning to capitalize on this economic growth by introducing bills to improve the state’s workforce training and skills to meet the demands of our growing economy.
