1 Dead and 1 Injured in 2 Overnight Shootings; Gunfire Erupted at Party

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating two more shootings in the city after two incidents over night leave 1 dead and 1 critically wounded.
Man Shot and Killed
Police are searching for suspects after a man was shot on Milwaukee's North side at about midnight.

According to a report from FOX 6, police were alerted to a ShotSpotter activation in the area. ShotSpotter is a crime reporting system that uses sensors to detect, analyze and report gunfire moments after it happens.
When officers got to the scene, they located a male that had been shot. He was unconscious and not breathing. The victim’s injury was severe — and he died on the scene, FOX 6 is reporting.

Man in Critical Condition
Another man was reportedly shot and critically injured approximately two hours earlier near the 3000 block of West Ruskin Court, about a block from the Southgate Shopping Center on Milwaukee's south side.
According to a report by the CBS 58, a 39-year-old man was shot at a party around 10 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, the suspect armed himself with a gun and shot the victim multiple times.
The victim was treated on the scene, then transported to a local hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department. The victim is expected to survive his injuries, but he is in critical condition.
