2 Dead, 8-Year-Old Girl Injured, 3 Overnight Shootings
Two men were shot and killed and an 8-year-old girl was injured by gunfire overnight in Milwaukee.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Two men were shot and killed and an 8-year-old girl was injured by gunfire overnight in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that happened around 10:00 p.m. on July 31 in the 2600 block of N. 47th Street.
An 8-year-old female was outside a home and was struck by gunfire after multiple shots were fired in the area.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Police are also investigating a homicide that happened around 10:10 p.m. on July 31 in the 4800 block of W. Congress Street.

Upon their arrival, officers found the victim, a 55-year-old Milwaukee man, had been shot in the street.
Despite lifesaving measures, the victim died at the scene. Next-of-kin notification is still being made to the victim’s family.
Lastly, police in Milwaukee are investigating a homicide and non-fatal shooting that happened around 11:05 p.m. on July 31 in the 8100 block of W. Bender Avenue.
A 22-year-old Milwaukee man and a 20-year-old Milwaukee woman were inside a parked vehicle when an unknown suspect approached them and shot them.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Next-of-kin notification is still being made to the victim’s family.
