2 Semi Trucks Collide With Disabled I-94 Truck, Helper: Sheriff
Authorities say the driver of a disabled stuck on I-94 and the BMW driver who stopped to help him were both hit by passing semi trucks Mon.

WAUKESHA, WI — The driver of a disabled vehicle stuck on I-94 and the good Samaritan who pulled over to help him were both struck by two semi trucks during a Monday snowstorm, according to sheriff's officials.
Authorities say the driver of a BMW called police after he saw the driver of a disabled GMC pickup truck stuck in the westbound lanes of I-94 near Highway 83 in Delafield. As the BMW driver got out of his car to check on the pickup truck driver, his BMW was struck by a passing Peterbilt Semi truck.
According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's office, the incident did not end there. Following that crash, a Freightliner Semi, also traveling west on I-94 struck the GMC pickup that was disabled in traffic.

Officials say the driver of the GMC pick-up truck, a 59-year-old Greenfield man, suffered critical injuries and was transported to Aurora Summit Hospital. All other people involved sustained minor injuries and were treated and released.
Sheriff's officials said that the Wisconsin State Patrol, City of Delafield Police Department, Lake Country Fire Department, Town of Delafield Fire Department, Village of Hartland Fire Department and Wales
Genesee Fire Department all responded to the scene.

The westbound lanes of I-94 at Highway 83 remained closed for several hours while the accident was investigated. The crash remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.
