20-Year-Old Dies Under Hail of Gunfire on Milwaukee's South Side
Two semi-automatic pistols were recovered, one from the victim and one from the driver. The second group of shooters fled the scene.

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 5:30 p.m. on August 25 in the 600 block of N. 29th Street.
The 20-year-old male victim was a passenger in a 2001 red Acura driven by a 23-year-old man. Both men exited the Acura and began to exchange gunfire with a group to the south near W. Michigan Street.
During this exchange, the victim was struck. He suffered a critical injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The 20-year-old male victim critically injured in the August 25 shooting in the 600 block of N. 29th Street died from his injuries this morning.
Officers assigned to the District Three were on patrol nearby, heard the shots, responded and were able to arrest the driver of the Acura.
