Did She Jump Or Was She Hit? Death Investigation Continues
Did Lane E. Kerpan, 25, jump from a pedestrian bridge or was she hit by a car? Police are trying to find her cause of death.

MILWAUKE, WI — A 25-year-old woman is dead after authorities say a citizen driving along Lincoln Memorial Drive found her body in the road early Wednesday morning.
The body of Lane E. Kerpan, 25, Milwaukee was found at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday by the passerby, who reported she was found laying in the right turn lane of the south lanes of the road near the Milwaukee Art Musuem.
A CBS 58 report late Thursday states that authorities are still trying to determine Kerpan's cause of death. The report states that authorities aren't sure if she was hit by a vehicle on the road or if she jumped off the pedestrian bridge that connects the Milwaukee Art Museum with a nearby parking ramp.
