3 To 6 Inches Snowfall Expected Wednesday
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook, as widespread accumulating snow hits Wisconsin early Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook, as widespread accumulating snow will affect east central into parts of south central and southeast Wisconsin late tonight through Wednesday. Snowfall of mostly 3 to 6 inches is expected by Wednesday evening with localized higher amounts.
The heaviest snowfall can be expected in the Sheboygan, Elkhart Lake, Mount
Calvary, Port Washington and Random Lake areas.
The snow will affect both the Wednesday morning commute and late afternoon and evening commute with snow covered and slippery roads. Be prepared to allow extra time to reach your destinations on Wednesday, especially in the afternoon and evening.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
Accumulating snow is expected Wednesday morning and afternoon. The greatest chance for seeing 1 inch or more is for areas along and east of Madison. A snow band may set up, producing locally heavy amounts of 4-7 inches. Current forecasts suggest this heavier snow band will be along and northeast of a Milwaukee to Montello line.

The advisory starts at 4 am tonight and runs through 6 pm on Wednesday. Keep up with the forecast, as it may change. Prepare for the possibility of slick roadways and hazardous travel if you'll be out and about on Wednesday.
