3 Women, 1 Man Charged With Denny's and Genesis Restaurant Armed Robberies

The foursome are accused of pointing a handgun at cashiers and robbing $1,000 in cash. They are all 25 years old or less.

GREENFIELD -- Four suspects accused of staging armed robberies at the Wauwatosa Denny's and Greenfield Genesis restaurant have been arrested and charged for their alleged crimes.

The robbery suspects, including three Milwaukee women and one male, are Jonathan Brown, Berdashia Davis, Shalonda Davis and Markeyda Oldham.They are all 25 years or younger.

The foursome are accused of pointing a handgun at cashiers and making away with approximately $1,000 in cash. If convicted, they each face up to 50 years behind bars or up to $200,000 in fines, or both.

On October 7 at approximately 12:41 a.m., Wauwatosa police were dispatched to Denny’s restaurant, 11155 W. North Ave., on a report of an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, police learned that three African American subjects entered the restaurant. All three subjects were wearing hooded sweatshirts with hoods pulled tightly over their faces. The first subject was armed with a black pistol.

The subject “racked” the pistol and ordered the employee behind the cash register to open the drawers.The second subject then came around the counter and removed the money from the cash drawers.

The third subject stayed near the doorway. After the money was obtained, all three subjects fled the restaurant. Police were told the three subjects stole approximately $200.00. The robbers were observed fleeing the scene in a tan Toyota Sienna minivan.

Greenfield Genesis

Later that night an off-duty police officer in Greenfield observed a van matching the one in the Wauwatosa robbery. The detective followed the van as it parked just east of Genesis restaurant, located at 3740 S. 108th St. The detective then observed three subjects, wearing hooded sweatshirts, walk from the area of the van into the restaurant.
A few minutes later, the same three subjects ran back to the van after reportedly robbing the restaurant of $800. Police conducted a traffic stop of the van a short time later.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as defendant Berdashia Davis.

The three passengers were identified as defendants Shalonda Davis, Jonathan Brown, and Markeyda Oldham. All of the defendants were placed under arrest.
