Anonymous Caller Reports Family Celebrating Ramadan to Police
Police determined the family was not being disruptive Sunday night after an anonymous caller made a noise complaint.
An anonymous caller made a noise complaint Sunday evening, describing a "loud party with noise and children running everywhere," according to the police report.
Upon their arrival after 10 p.m., police said the family in the 5200 block of West Bottsford Avenue was sitting outside and celebrating Ramadan, an Islamic observance.
Police said the family was not being loud, but they were advised of the complaint.
