Bartz’s The Party Stores Changes Logo For Brewers Playoff Run

Bartz's will change its logo to Brewers-inspired logo as long as Brewers remain in the playoffs.

Milwaukee Brewers fever has one local business changing its corporate image for as long as the 2011 playoff run lasts.

Bartz's the Party Stores announced Wednesday the official change of its corporate logo — a clown — to include a Bernie Brewer-inspired mustache as long as the Milwaukee Brewers remain in the playoffs.

Don Bartz, owner of the party supply and costume stores in Waukesha, Wauwatosa, Greenfield and Menomonee Falls, is an avid Brewers fan and season ticket holder.

"This has been a special season and we've always supported the Brewers as fans. Now we wanted to do something as a company," Bartz said in a statement. "We'll see how long this run can last. Hopefully, we'll still have this logo at the start of the 2012 season."

Bartz's also designed and had a custom die created for a cardboard Bernie mustache to be sold exclusively at its four locations. The Bernie 'Stache is selling for $1 at all four stores and has already become one of its most popular items.
