BBB Names 2016 Business Ethics Winners

The BBB of Wisconsin Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the winners of its prestigious Torch Awards for Business Ethics and Integrity.

The Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the winners of its prestigious Torch Awards for Business Ethics and Integrity.

The winners were selected by an independent, distinguished panel of nine business ethics experts and announced at a ceremony in the Garage at the Harley-Davidson Museum® in Milwaukee on Tuesday, May 17th. The winners were chosen based on submissions that demonstrated excellence in ethical practices, customer service, reputation, honest advertising, peer recognition, management practices, and employee training in ethical behavior within their industry and community. The winners are:

Category I (1 to 10 employees) – Barb’s Interior Design, Inc., Cedarburg

Category II (11 to 50 employees) – Ellenbecker Investment Group, Pewaukee

Category III (51 to 500 employees) – EO Johnson Business Technologies, Wausau

Category IV (more than 501 employees) – WPS Health Solutions, Madison

Non-Profit Sector - Friedens Ministries, Inc., Milwaukee

In addition to the above winners, the following awards were given:

Category I – Schmid Pipeline Construction, Inc., Mayville (runner up)

Category II – LeafGuard Gutters & Roofing of NE Wisconsin, Neenah (honorable mention)

Category III – Bank Mutual Corporation, Brown Deer (runner up); Tundraland Home Improvements, Kaukauna (honorable mention)

Category IV – Johnsonville Sausage, LLC, Sheboygan Falls; (runner up); ManpowerGroup, Milwaukee (honorable mention) and CUNA Mutual Group, Madison (honorable mention)

Non-Profit Sector – Ventures Unlimited, Inc., Shell Lake (honorable mention)
