BBB Serving Wisconsin Student of Integrity Scholarship Program is now accepting applications from Wisconsin high school seniors.

The Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin Student of Integrity Scholarship Program is now accepting applications from Wisconsin high school seniors. To be eligible for this award, the applicant must be a high school senior, a Wisconsin state resident, have a 3.0 GPA or show consistent GPA improvement over time, and plan to attend a Wisconsin-based accredited Higher Education Institution (two or four year) in the fall of 2019.
The most important part of the application is the student's personal essay submission. Each student is asked to write an essay that describes a unique situation where the student's moral convictions and personal ethics were challenged, and how the student made the decision despite possible consequences. The essay must emphasize how the student demonstrates matured ethical leadership at a young age. Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation from an advisor or community member. Community involvement, volunteer activities, awards and honors, are all considered by a panel of judges.
Completed applications are due on Thursday, February 14, 2019 by 4:30pm.
Since 2010 the BBB Serving Wisconsin has provided scholarship gifts totaling more than $150,000 to Wisconsin high school students who have demonstrated character, leadership, and ethical values. Provided by the generous support of ethical Wisconsin companies, the scholarship provides the opportunity for these future leaders to continue their education beyond high school at an accredited college.
As the scholarship recipients pursue their careers, BBB Serving Wisconsin hopes to develop future business leaders who will promote ethics in the Wisconsin marketplace.
Scholarship winners will be spotlighted at the BBB’s annual Torch Award for Ethics luncheon which will take place in May 15, 2019 atBartolotta Catering at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee.
