“The Board is extremely excited to have Jim Temmer lead the BBB Serving Wisconsin”, says Bill Goodman, BBB Serving Wisconsin Board Chairman. “Consumers and businesses are overwhelmed with choices – and often unsure about where to find verified, unbiased reviews and information leading to the identification of ethical businesses with which to engage. BBB is that place. Under Ran Hoth’s 18-year leadership, the BBB’s service and membership was greatly expanded, fostering honest and responsive relationships between businesses and customers, instilling customer confidence and advancing a trustworthy marketplace for all. Jim is the ideal professional to carry the Torch and lead the BBB team in support of ethical marketplace behavior into the future.”

Temmer replaces Ran Hoth, who has served as President and CEO of the BBB since 1997. Hoth will remain Chief Executive Officer until his final retirement, October 1, 2016.

“I am humbled to have been selected to lead the BBB Serving Wisconsin”, says Jim Temmer. “Its long-standing mission to promote ethical business practices and high level of respect have made the BBB the unquestioned leader in advancing marketplace trust.”

I will continue to provide transition support as we enthusiastically welcome Jim as our new leader.”
