All About Books: Teaser Tuesday - Dragonfly in Amber (Again!)

Introducing the library's newest patron! And a little tease of my current read, as well.

Yes, I know. I was reading "Dragonfly in Amber" last Teaser Tuesday. But, come on, the book is over 900 pages! I'm more than halfway done - that counts for something, yes?

Now, on to the Teaser Tuesday Rules:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

"I had halted my poney, who took advantage of the recess to nose about among the meager shreds of plant life still to be found. The back of Young Simon's neck was bright red as he turned back to his horse, and I decided to keep out of the way."

Last night, I was at the Greenfield Public Library and happened to meet their new tutor, Puzzle. I was so excited! Puzzle is my kind of teacher. Patient, gorgeous eyes, very smart . . . and furry. , there to encourage reluctant or shy readers to read more. It's a wonderful new program - your kids can schedule some time to meet with Puzzle and read together. I wonder if I can make an appointment! (Please call the Library at (414) 321-9595 X104 for more information or to schedule an appointment with Puzzle.)
