Kaleidoscopes

Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center's FREE comprehensive humane education program available to schools and organized groups that provides customized one-time learning opportunities for youth aged 3-18.

The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center coordinates several community outreach and humane education programs. Β This week we're highlighting Kaleidoscopes; a free program available to schools and organized groups that provides customized one-time learning opportunities for youth aged 3-18.

The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center recognizes the lifelong impact that positive experiences with animals can have on children, and the Kaleidoscopes program brings the Center's message of care and compassion to a large audience of youth in the Milwaukee area.

Kaleidoscopes offers a variety of presentations which can be given either in the classroom or at the Center. Β A Kaleidoscopes representative will work with the teacher or group leader to customize their presentation by determining what lessons they want the children to take away from the experience. Β Daniel, the Center's mascot, has even been known to make an appearance from time to time.

While it is not a requirement, the groups often coordinate a fundraiser to benefit the Center. Β They collect pet food and supplies, or "Pennies for Puppies", further teaching the lessons of charity and helping others in need.

If you would like to sign up your classroom or youth group for a Kaleidoscopes visit, email info@milwaukeearc.org.
