Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center Pet of the Week: Beatrice

Let's find Beatrice a home!

The first thing everyone notices about Bea are her ears, but don’t forget to notice her AMAZING personality! This girl is as snuggly as she is playful - her foster family makes sure she gets lots of exercise to keep that puppy brain active and engaged. When she’s done with play time she is all about the cuddles. She adores kids and will do well in a home with children age ten and up (she might be a little too boisterous for the tiny ones still).

Beatrice is doing really well learning her manners, she’s working on housetraining and excelling (she of course thrives on consistency in her schedule), and she does great in a crate while her humans are away. She’d be happy as an only dog or with a  social canine companion who can handle the tumbly big kid kind of play she loves so much.

Okay, now we can talk about those awesome EARS! If you adopt Beatrice, you will no doubt be met with lots of "is that a dog part rabbit?" jokes, so her new family will definitely need to be open to offering lots of kind laughs to passers-by.

The generosity of our foster families allow us to save precious lives like Bea's and give second chances to animals who need it. If you're interested in learning more about what it takes to become a foster home, contact info@milwaukeearc.org to sign up for the next foster information meeting. Fostering homeless animals is a big but lifesaving commitment, and our foster parents often tell us they feel like the lucky ones when they share their hearts and homes with these kids.
