Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center Pet of the Week: Lily
Lily is a really sweet cat who's looking for a home.
Oh, Lily. We love you.
The first thing everyone notices about Lily is her stunning torbie coat, but what really stands out to the staff and volunteers who are lucky enough to know her is her amazingly loving personality. She adores getting pet and nudges and snuzzles the humans when they think it's time to stop. (Lily is pretty sure there is no such thing as a "good" time to stop petting her.) She purrs and chirps and has a lot to say! Her very favorite place to hang is a perch in a sunny window.
Lily is a bit on the shy side, but we see her gaining confidence every day. One of the most rewarding things about working with shelter animals is witnessing the countless transformations from scared and unsure to happy and loving. Lily is well on her way, and it's incredible to see her progress! She's currently living in the blue room at the Center - the cage free socializing room- with Murphy, and those two have become fast friends. They stalk each other, pounce on each other, groom each other - it's nothing short of adorable.

Lily's ideal home will be on the calm and quiet side. She's great with other cats and would do well with the right feline companion.
