MILWAUKEE -- The No. 11th-ranked Aurora University Spartans proved to be too much for host Alverno College with a 10-0 victory over the Inferno this afternoon at Alverno Field.
The Inferno dropped to 3-10 overall and 0-8 in Northern Athletics Conference play, while the Spartans improved to 14-0-1, 9-0 NAC.
The visiting Spartans had 20 shots on goal, compared to the Inferno's two, and connected on half of them for the 10-0 scoring advantage.

Brittany Carpenter and Nava Moniriarani each had one of the Inferno's shots on goal, while Carpenter had two shots overall.
Samantha Robinson picked up the loss in goal and had a game-high 10 saves.
