Tomatoes are sensitive to sudden chills and may be affected when the temperature drops below 50 degrees. We are expecting cooler evening temperatures that are coming this week, especially near the lake.
One sign of stress is called blossom drop. This is when the plant drops its blossoms that would have produced the tomatoes.

If you plant in containers, as I do, this would be the time to move them into the garage or cover them with a light sheet if they are in the ground already before the sun sets. This will allow the heat that the soil has taken up during the day to be slowly released back to the plant under the sheet. Just remember to remove the sheet after the sun rises in the morning.
