What I Did on My Spring Break
Blogger Jeannette Lucero recaps her trip to Hawaii and previews a few of the citywide projects she's working on.
Did you guys miss me?
The kids and I had a great time going "home" for Spring Break! It wasn't all fun in the sun: we braved warm, calm, blue waters and kayaked for miles along the Makena coastline, swam with Spinner Dolphins and hung out with Green Sea Turtles. We hung on for our lives ziplining down a volcano! Hiked for miles, climbing down steep trails, braving raging streams, with a watchful eye for wild pigs and man - eating fresh water prawns! :) I've got pictures!! Come in to see them and for a slice of the Best Pie in America - this month's feature pie - Hawaiian Strawberry! Go figure!
Until then, stay tuned because I actually did do a few things while on vacay. I've got great news to share about this year's 4th of July Celebration! Greenfield Little League's Opening Day is May 12! Junior Girl Scout Troop 1187 Bronze Project - Pet Supply Drive to benefit the Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center, May 9 - May 23!

I need a vacay from my vacay!
