Whitnall Boy's Basketball Team Experiencing Ups, Downs
A recap of what has taken place this far in the Whitnall boys basketball season.

The back-to-back conference champion Whitnall Falcons boyβs basketball teamβs season is underway, and while itβs only been three weeks, the team has four wins under their belt with three loses. That puts them second in conference, behind the Brown Deer Falcons (5-0).
The season isnβt anywhere near over though, and the team is ready to strap in for the ride as they battle their way through the rest of the season.
This year will most likely be a little more challenging than it typically is, due to a new head coach in Steven Kujawa, and the team's overall size being on the smaller size.

Coach Kujawa may be the new head coach, but he is nowhere near new when it comes to basketball experience. Coach Kujawaβs father was the head basketball coach at Cudahy for many years, which led to Kujawa growing up with basketball in his blood. But thatβs not all, he himself has 19 years of coaching experience, with 14 of those years as an assistant coach to previous Whitnall head coach Kent Kroupa.
βI like him because heβs very passionate and you can tell he really cares about the kids on the teamβ said Whitnallβs senior forward, Mitchell Molbeck.

In addition to a new coach, this years varsity team is definitely not the tallest, but that doesnβt seem to have them worried.
βWhat we lack in size we more than make up for in spirit and stick-to-itiveness,β senior Trenton Coleman said.
Senior center Michael Radavich added: βYes we are undersized in almost every way. Itβs a bump in the road, but as a team I believe we will be able overcome it!"
As the season continues no one can be positive as to the outcome, but one thing can be said for sure: this team is willing to give it everything they have, and leave it all on the court.
