Whitnall High School Students Valentine's Day Celebration
All Whitnall High schoolers celebrated their Valentine's Day a little differently this year.

Love is in the air at Whitnall High School as students talk about their Valentineβs Day celebrations.
Whether itβs dinner and a movie with a boyfriend, or staying home with the family, everyone is chatting about last nightβs festivities and people outside high school are probably curious as to how high schoolers spent their holiday this year.
Gabbie Weis, a Whitnall senior, had basketball practice and a team dinner for the Falcons upcoming game Friday night at home against Whitnallβs rival, the Greenfield Hawks. Obviously, the game is more important to the girlβs basketball team then the special holiday.Β

To some like Daniel Lak, a Whitnall unior, βthe holiday is a lot of moneyβ but he still took his girlfriend to a fancy dinner at Olive Garden, which was a popular place of choice for the Valentineβs Day dinner among Whitnall students.Β
Whitnall senior, Sam Damijan, an employee at Olive Garden, spent her Valentineβs Day working the rush at this popular restaurant.

"We had about a two and a half hours wait for a majority of the night,β Damijan said. "Valentines Day is our busiest day of the year.βΒ
Everyoneβs night seemed full of excitement and love with or without a boyfriend or girlfriend to spend the holiday with. It may or may not be everyoneβs favorite holiday, but everyone seemed to find a great way to celebrate Valentineβs Day.
