Whitnall Yearbooks Close to Making Year-End Debut

Yearbooks - and the memories of high school held in them - are coming soon at Whitnall High School.

As the end of the year approaches at Whitnall High School, the distribution of yearbooks is highly anticipated. The yearbook class has been working hard all year to produce a spectacular book.

The yearbook class at Whitnall is a yearlong class. It’s relatively small – yet hardworking – and consists of sophomores, juniors and seniors. The making of the yearbook consists of many different elements.

“It takes a lot of work,” junior Kylie Just said. Taking pictures, getting interviews, making page layouts and lots of editing go into production of the book.

Whitnall students have been seeing seemingly random posters around school with the logo of the TV show "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" on them. These posters, however, are actually hints as to what's going to be in the yearbook.

“More stuff will be added to the posters as time goes on,” Just said.

Funds for the yearbook are running low, unfortunately, and fundraising is necessary for the yearbook’s long-tenured existence to continue at Whitnall. Such fundraisers have happened and will happen in the future.

Hopefully, students at Whitnall are getting excited for the yearbook, and it will be a memory from high school that they will cherish.
