Aaron Rodgers Out For Season, Packers Miss Playoffs
The Green Bay Packers have put Aaron Rodgers on injured reserve Tuesday, one day after the team was eliminated from playoff contention.

The Green Bay Packers have put quarterback Aaron Rodgers on injured reserve Tuesday, which means he will sit out the remainder of the season.
In the complex NFC playoff picture, the Packers mathematical playoff odds officially fell to zero Monday night when the Atlanta Falcons beat the Tampa Bay buccaneers 24-21.
The Green Bay Packers rusty, disheveled performance against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday was by many accounts, the team's last best hope at making the 2017 NFL playoffs.

The Packers 31-24 defeat featured the return of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. His return, however, was complicated by a collar bone that was not fully healed, arm strength that was not back to 100 percent, three interceptions, and a defense that did not help the team out in any great measure.
Packer fans can expect to see a return of Brett Hundley to the quarterback position for the remaining two games. The team also re-signed third string quarterback Joe Callahan to back up Hundley. Hundley guided the Packers to victories over Tampa Bay, Chicago, and Cleveland during Rodgers’ 8-week absence due to a broken collarbone.
