Carpenter Still Missing, Misses MMSD Meeting
Greenfield representative now in his 11th day in Illinois in protest of Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair bill.

Tim Carpenter and the 13 other Democratic senators avoiding Madison in protest of Gov. Scott Walkerβs budget-repair bill have now been gone for 11 days.
The 14 senators, including Carpenter, who is one of two senators that represents Greenfield, are in Illinois to deny a quorum in the state senate.
This morning, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Carpenter, along with Lena Taylor, another Democratic senator from Milwaukee, missed a Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District Commission meeting Monday.
