Community Shred Day Planned For Greenfield

The City of Greenfield will hold an event in August for the community to come and shred any unwanted documents.

GREENFIELD, WI — Mark your calendar for the upcoming community shred day in Greenfield. Residents will be able to destroy their documents free of charge at the event on August 14, according to the city's website.

The City of Greenfield Department of Parks and Recreation hired the company Shred It to bring its mobile shredding unit to City Hall. Residents can bring up to three boxes or bags of files for destruction, the city website said.

Shred It will then securely destroy the documents as residents watch. The event is only open to residents of Greenfield, but is free of charge, the city website said.

The shredding event will take place at 9 a.m.-noon in the City Hall Parking lot at 7325 West Forest Home Avenue on August 14.
