Date Set For Whitnall's Annual Block Party

After successfully celebrating the district's 50th anniversary last fall, organizers are back at it preparing for the Whitnall School District's Back to School Block Party.

This year's party will be from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, on South 116th Street in front of and .

Organizers are looking for adult and student volunteers for activity booths, snack and beverage stations and other duties, as well as musical entertainment. Event sponsorship opportunities are also available.
