Drunk Driver Hits Power Generator On I-894 Saturday: Report
Workers at the scene came close to being struck by the vehicle, but none were injured.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A Wisconsin man driving on I-894 late Saturday has been arrested after authorities say he nearly collided with construction workers before colliding with a power generator.
Officials say Jeffrey A. Kazinski, age 51, of Eagle, was arrested for OWI-4th offense and 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, both felony charges.
On Saturday, Feb.24, just after 2:30 a.m., authorities learned that a driver that crashed in an active construction zone in a closed lane on I-894 southbound between National Ave. and Oklahoma Ave.

Responding Milwaukee County Sheriff's squads found that a vehicle had struck a large trailer-type generator that was attached to a work truck. Workers at the scene came close to being struck by the vehicle, but none were injured. The driver of the vehicle needed to be transported to the hospital for his injuries.
According to sheriff's officials, Kazinski tested a .19 on a on a preliminary breath test and had a blood alcohol concentration restriction of .02 on his driver’s license. His prior OWI convictions were in September 1989, February 1993, and October 1997.
