Election 2011: Nancy Zaborowski, Whitnall School Board

A resident of Greenfield for nearly 18 years and mother of a son in the district, Nancy Zabrowski, 10034 West Meadow Drive, Greenfield, is seeking a second term on the Whitnall School Board because she feels she has learned a lot in her first term and can now accomplish more.

Zabrowski feels the most important issue facing the board is the need to “continue educating our children in preparation for a global society as our mission states, ‘By providing the highest quality personalized educational experience, the Whitnall School district engages learners who embrace challenges and are responsible contributing members of a dynamic global society’ while staying within our budget."

“We need to be constantly changing and increasing our rigor while trying to figure out what the world will be like in 10 or more years for them to be competetive.”

, Zaborowski said she hoped to continue the work she's done on the board's strategic planning committee and focus on budget concerns, and that her background in human resources is an asset.
