The Bel Canto Boy Choir, conducted by Ellen Mundy Shuler, and the Vocal Arts Academy, conducted by Emily Holt Crocker, present the Milwaukee premiere of Robert Jager's powerful "I Dream Of Peace", a 20-minute work that paints a haunting picture of war, utilizing texts from children of the Balkans who saw their lives torn apart by war in the 1990s. The children's abhorrence of war creates a deeply moving emotional tapestry rooted in the universal longing for peace. The program also features Srul Irving Glick's uplifting "Psalm Trilogy" and other works.
