Why Go: Professor Oops presents a mixture of science, magic and funny inventions; Eartha the Elf will teach you why you should respect the planet; Libra (Linda and Poul Sandersen of Pickin’ Up Speed) will bring you the Grass Roots music of America; and Side By Side will present children’s music, show tunes, and hymns. This Family Tree concert promises family-friendly entertainment with opportunities for audience participation.

2. A traditional bluegrass concert
Where/When: Greenfield Performing Arts Center/7:30 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: The band Pickin' Up Speed is celebrating the release of its fifth album, Home Sweet Home - The Farm Sessions. The group plays original and traditional bluegrass songs, bluegrass Gospel, "countrygrass" and their own bluegrass arrangements of songs we all know and love.

Why Go: Kids and parents in Greenfield and surrounding communities are invited to come together to engage in fun, active play and learn healthier habits that help them grow and thrive. Activities are free and open to all and include family fitness fun, water safety/open swim, obstacle courses, sports challenges and much more. There will also be prizes and giveaways.

Where/When: State Fair Park Expo Center/10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday
Why Go: KIDSfest & Baby Expo is a two-day event packed with fun for your entire family. Four separate stages feature entertainment, from David Seebach's World of Magic to ComedySportz to Trinity Irish Dance. SafetyLand will offer safety tips in a memorable way. The SportsZone includes fun activities from the Brewers, Bucks, Packers, Wave and more. Face painting, science experiments, clowns, climbing walls . . . there's plenty to check out.
Pricing: $5 family passes are available at any area North Shore Bank, or $3 for adults, $2 for children and kids under 2 are free
