Whitnall's spring musical and a community rummage sale among the highlights.

Will this winter ever end? it's Wisconsin, so maybe, maybe not.

But there is a lot happening this weekend so you can "Get Out" and forget about Wednesday's bad commute, that heavy wet snow and and the long work week.

Where/When: Whitnall High School auditorium/Thursday, Friday and Saturday/7:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Whitnall Players guarantee that their spring musical, Lucky Stiff, will relieve you of all of your winter woes. It's a comedy/farce with a zany plot and lots of energizing music -- all presented by some truly comical characters.

2. Greenfield Community Rummage Sale

Where/When: Greenfield High School cafeteria/Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why Go: Because rummaging indoors will make you think nice thoughts about the approaching outdoor rummage sale season, and you never know what sweet deal you might find. You might make a purchase that makes your entire weekend!

Where/When: Greenfield High School performing arts center/Saturday, 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: In Senegal, "Jam Ak Jam" means "peace and peace."  The Jam Ak Jam African Dance Troupe strives to express the essence of peace in its work.  Enjoy authentic African dance, music and folklore, as well as Afro-contemporary dance.

Where/When: /Saturday, noon

Why Go: The Fiore Sisters will regale you with their show, "Songs of Stage and Screen," after you enjoy Meyer's Restaurant's famous all-you-can-eat family style buffet.  You can purchase tickets online or at Meyer's.

Where/When: State Fair Park's Exposition Center/Friday, Saturday and Sunday, various times

Why Go: If you enjoy the outdoors, you'll enjoy the Sports Show. Lots to see, lots to buy and lots to do.
