Grate Mac And Cheese Sets Opening Date

GREENFIELD, WI — Grate Modern Mac and Cheese opens its doors Thursday, May 24, in Greenfield’s 84South development at 8871 W. Sura Lane. Roaring Fork introduced the new restaurant last August with its first location in Menomonee Falls. It was the first restaurant of its kind in southeastern Wisconsin.

The franchise is celebrating the grand opening of its second location with a brand-new recipe – “Cheesy Twice Baked Potato,” which will be a menu item at both the 84South and Menomonee Falls locations.

The new 2,600-square-foot restaurant will also feature a dozen mac and cheese entrees, including “Chicken Bacon Jalapeno Ranch,” ”Mexican Street Corn” and “ BBQ Pork.”

All Grate menu items are crafted from recipes developed in-house using only Wisconsin cheese, butter and milk. Since opening its first restaurant last year, Grate has launched online ordering at www.gratemac.com, catering services of any size for delivery or pickup, Grate and Bake (a take-and-bake menu option), rotating seasonal mac and cheese flavors, and warm breadsticks with house-made herb butter.
