This Wednesday, use your me-time for some self-exploration and meditation through the ancient practice of a labyrinth.
Hosted by the Greendale Parks and Recreation Department at the Village Education Center, nurse and Reiki Master Linda Daniels explores using a labyrinth as a means for reflection.
The labyrinth is essentially a maze inscribed on the floor of a building or the ground of a garden used as a symbol for the maze of one’s own life. Walking slowly through the maze is meant to symbolize the journey one takes through life. The meditation technique is physically easy to complete and creates a space for mental peace of mind.
