Greenfield Farmers Market Preview: Bring Dad And Your Green Thumb

Planting demonstrations, can koozies for dad, music and more are in store for this Sunday's Greenfield Farmers Market.

GREENFIELD, WI— The Greenfield Farmers Market this Sunday will host live music from Orlando Peña and a planting party, the market announced on Facebook.

The planting party will demonstrate how to plant tomatoes, butternut squash, bell peppers and herbs, the post said. The vegetables will be planted in the community potted garden at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Scheduled music is from Orlando Peña, a Milwaukee-based singer and songwriter. Peña plays traditional folk and country music with a modern take on instruments and rhythms, his website said.

This weekend's farmers market manages to fall right on Father's Day. There are plenty of ways to get out of the house with dad on Sunday in Greenfield, farmers market included. The market this Sunday will feature a booth where kids can decorate a can koozie for dad, the Greenfield Farmers Market said on Facebook.
