Greenfield Man Charged in Sex Crimes Involving 14 and 15-Year-old Girls

GREENFIELD -- A 26-year-old Greenfield man faces multiple sex crime charges after police executed a search warrant on his property earlier this month.

According to his criminal complaint, officers executed a search warrant on the home of Ryan Myers on Greenbrook Terrace on September 7. During the course of their search, officers reportedly recovered a thumb drive containing the images of nude juvenile females that were part of multiple criminal investigations.

During questioning by police, Myers admitted to talking online with a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old girl online between November 2015 and March 2016. He admitted to asking for nude photographs of both girls while also admitting to sending both girls nude images of himself and a video of him self-administering a sex act, according to the complaint.

According to Myers criminal comnplaint, the Village of Kewaskum Police spoke with the 15-year-old girl in April regarding an incident with Myers who reportedly pressured her to send her nude photographs of herself.

Police say that West Bend Police spoke with the 14-year-old girl later in April, who told police that she felt scared because Myers pressured her to send nude pictures of herself.

Ryan Myers faces charges of possession of child pornography and causing a child under the age of 18 to view or listen to sexual activity.

If convicted, Myers faces up to 18 years behind bars or a maximum of $110,000 in fines, or both, if he is convicted.

Myers is scheduled to appear in court next for a scheduling conference scheduled for October 25, 2016 at 08:30 am.
