Greenfield Man Who Stole More than $6K from Joey Gerard's Arrested
A Greenfield man has been arrested and charged with embezzlement after he reportedly ripped off Joey Gerard's Supper Club of more than $6K.

GREENFIELD, WI — A Greenfield man has been arrested and charged with embezzlement after he reportedly ripped off Joey Gerard's Supper Club of more than $6,000.
According to his criminal complaint, Demetrius S. Pritzlaff is accused of stealing the supper club's deposit bag on May 14, but not before he deactivated the club's alarm system and wandered around inside the business after hours before taking the bag.
According to his criminal complaint, Pritzlaff entered the back door of Joey Gerard's Supper Club, where he worked as an assistant manager, deactivated the alarm, and entered the building.

According to the complaint, nearly three hours after entering the building after-hours, he reportedly exited the building with a deposit bag, which amounted to a total of $6,092.24 in losses to the business.
After leaving Joey Gerard's for his new work at the North Point custard stand, officers located Pritzlaff at the custard stand where he was arrested. The criminal complaint states that police found his truck, where they found the deposit bag, $950 in cash and 1.6 grams of cocaine.

According to his complaint, Pritzlaff admitted to taking the money from Joey Gerard's, stating he used it to fund a $4,000 down-payment for his new truck and to pay some bills.
