GREENFIELD, WI — Under a red and blue archway during a ribbon cutting ceremony, Greenfield Mayor Michael J. Neitzke delivered remarks, joining other public and company officials in welcoming the city's newest business - the Meijer grocery store at 5700 W. Layton Ave. - into operation Tuesday.
The Greenfield Meijer grocery store represents a 200,000 square foot retail development featuring grocery, pharmacy, home improvement, sporting goods, electronics, clothing, pet care, and gas/convenience.
Meijer looked to hire 300 people to staff up its newest store at 5700 W. Layton Avenue.
