Greenfield Receives $61,000 From FEMA

Federal government reimburses city for blizzard expenses.

City officials have announced that Greenfield will receive $61,158 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency as reimbursement for expenses incurred during the Feb. 2 blizzard.

You might remember that storm as the one that dropped about 20 inches of snow on southeastern Wisconsin andΒ .

The money from FEMA reimburses the city for personnel (including overtime), material and equipment costs used to clear 113 road miles of large accumulations of snow during a 48-hour period.
