The Greenfield School District meets the state’s Department of Public Instruction’s expectations, but one of its six schools appears, on the surface, to need more work than the others.
Glenwood Elementary School scored a district-low 59.9 on its DPI report card, which meets few of the state's expectations, the first time in two years the district has had a school that does not meet expectations, according to Greenfield NOW.
The newspaper reported the district has a plan in place to bring Glenwood back up to the level of the district’s other schools.

Highlighting this year’s district report card grades is Elm Dale’s 73.9 and Edgewood’s 73.4, both of which exceed expectations. Maple Grove is close behind with a 71.2.
Greenfield High School earned a 69.3 and the Middle School a 66.9.
