Greenfield Voters Pick Whitnall School Board Candidates

Voters narrowed a field of five Whitnall School Board candidates down to four in advance of the April election.

GREENFIELD, WI -- Voters in the Whitnall School District headed to the polls on Tuesday, Feb. 19 to decide how best to narrow down a field of candidates for two school board seats.

There are two school board seats on the ballot, and five candidates who filed candidacy paperwork.

On Feb. 19, voters decided that incumbents Steven Butz, and Stephanie Richter and newcomers Karen Mikolainis and Liz Sanders will advance to the general election on April 2.

  • Karen Mikolainis 248 votes 23%
  • Liz Sanders 214 votes 20%
  • Stephanie Richter (I) 193 votes 18%
  • Jesse Stachowiak 160 votes 15%
