Greenfield Woman Stages Armed Robbery At Walmart, Walks Away With $8,000
Police recovered the note used by the defendant in this case which read, "Give me all the money quickly and quietly and I won't shoot you!"

GREENDALE -- A 23-year-old Greenfield woman faces up to 25 years behind bars after police say she staged an armed robbery at the Greendale Walmart, walking away with more than $8,000 from the customer service desk.
On October 19, Greendale Police Officers were dispatched to the Walmart store at 5301 South 76th Street on a report of an armed robbery. Upon investigation, police learned that a female, later identified as Morgan Buentello, approached the customer service desk, and slid a note to a clerk demanding money
The clerk, fearing for her life, complied with the defendant’s demand and turned over approximately $8,340 which Buentello took and left the store with, according to her criminal complaint.

Police recovered the note used by the defendant in this case which read, “Give me all the money quickly and quietly and I won’t shoot you!” Police were able to get the license plate of the vehicle in which Buentello left the scene which led to the owner of that vehicle, who told police where to find Buentello, her complaint stated.
According to police, upon proceeding to Buentello's mother’s residence on 35th Street in Milwaukee, police observed a Jeep Liberty with two females in it. Police observed Buentello in the passenger seat of the Jeep and placed her under arrest.

At the Greendale police station, Buentello stated that she needed money, and had not had any money for food in quite a while. Buentello stated that she did not have a weapon but she just put her hand in her pocket. She stated that she got money from the cashier, going on to say that she could not believe what she had done and she was sorry, her complaint read.
Buentello has been charged with felony Armed Robbery with Threat of Force, and is out of the Milwaukee County Jail on a $10,000 signature bond.
