Half Price Books Giving Away More than 3,000 Books to Non-Profit Organizations in Need on April 9
Half Price Books will give away more than 3,000 kids' books to nonprofits and schools in need on Thursday, April 9 at 10 a.m.
Non-profit organizations from the St. Louis area can pick up free children’s books during a special giveaway event this Thursday, April 9 at 10 a.m. at Half Price Books in Chesterfield (1664 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield).
The books were donated by the St. Louis-area community and matched by Half Price Books during the company’s 17th annual Half Pint Library book drive.
Any not-for-profit organization that can use or distribute children’s books is invited to stop by and get books while supplies last. Half Price Books employees will help load the hundreds of boxes of books for the groups that attend. Several groups have already signed up to get books, and all 3,000 books are expected to be given away.
