Harry Potter Takes Milwaukee-Area Patches by Storm

Though Greenfield residents had to go elsewhere to see the anticipated film, they didn't have to travel too far.

The countdown to the final Harry Potter film has come and gone as many fans of the worldwide phenomenon caught their first glimpse of The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 at the stroke of midnight early this morning.

Greenfield residents weren't even able to go see Part 1 of the finale at Silver Cinemas - Budget South, the only theater within city limits; it's run there ended a few weeks ago, but many local Potter fans were out in full force around the area.

In Brookfield, hundrends of people jammed the front of theΒ Β for the midnight showing. People dressed as Harry and all of their favorite characters from the enormously popular series. The first people in line got there 12 hours early, and photographer Aj Randall .
