Hawks' Season Ends Against Top-Ranked Wisco
Big second quarter, balance lead Vikings to 21-point win.
Top-ranked Wisconsin Lutheran pulled away in the second quarter with an 18-8 run en route to a 71-50 victory over the Greenfield boys basketball team in a WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal Friday.
Josh Gordon scored 16 points, one of four Vikings in double digits as Wisconsin Lutheran improved to 21-2 and advance to a regional final tonight against Pius XI at 7 p.m. at Oak Creek.
Greenfield's Ricky Santiago scored a game-high 19 points, but none of his teammates scored more than nine as the Hustlin' Hawks finished their season with a 5-19 record.
